What kid doesn’t dream about going to Disney World? From images on TV to friend’s who have taken magical vacations, kids start dreaming about a Disney Vacation from a very early age. Disney World is one of those fantasy places that make you forget everything else going on in the world.
Walt Disney World in Florida has so many different Parks and attractions, you never have to worry about your kids getting bored. In fact, the first thing to do is to build an itinerary to pick what you want to see and do. It can be overwhelming to choose from all the different activities, but here are my favorites to help.
World Showcase
This is easily one of the top attractions at Disney World located at EPCOT. The world showcase basically allows you to travel around the world. They offer movies, cuisine, and shopping from 11 different countries. Disney World took a little piece of culture from all of those countries and made it come alive. They cook the nations traditional food and provide visual representation of that nation. I’m sure that most people will take advantage of the 35 stores that are inside of the mall.
Test Track
This is one of those rides that you leave all the boys at so the girls can go shopping. It involves a bunch of cars that goes up to 65 mph. This is literally the fastest ride at Disney World. The ride last about 5 minutes in length and has you go up and over hills taking those turns going full speed. All you can do is throw your hands in the air and enjoy the ride.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic
This is a 3-D movie that stars Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. It is a 12-minute presentation that includes scenes from several of your favorite movies, but there is a little surprise in there too. This movie is great for kids of all ages because it has great music and other tricks that will stimulate all of your senses.
Younger children love the Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT is a hit with older kids and adults. The Animal Kingdom has something for people of all ages, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios is best for older kids and adults. Even though I listed some of the major attractions. I didn’t even come close to telling you everything that makes Disney World so special. They offer other attractions such as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Coaster, Space Mountain, and the Kilimanjaro Safari. I hope that you get the chance to experience Disney for yourself instead of just reading and hearing about it. It really is a magical place that is unlike any other.
