Here models of volcano erupt in front of amazed kids, ancient mechanisms come to life and start moving, chemical solutions bubble up and change their color, and a huge model of Tyrannosaurus Rex cheerfully raps.

In total, your kids will enjoy more than 50 different mini-experiments including creating a storm in a few clicks, playing an interactive piano, building an oil pipeline etc. So many exciting activities that you even won’t notice how a few hours have passed!

2. Aquaria KLCC

Here’s another great place to entertain children located inside Petronas Towers. At first glance, Aquaria doesn’t seem so exciting. The first creatures you’ll come across are butterflies, tired crocodiles, and sleeping snakes.

But once you reach the transparent underwater tunnel, you will be amazed by the varieties of tropical fish. Stingrays, sharks and giant turtles swim so close it seems you can touch them.

One of the most interesting features of Aquaria is that the underwater tunnel as a travelator so you can take a break from walking and take in this underwater marvel.

3. Butterfly Park

The park is all beauty, with its florissant greens, relaxing ponds and fountains, and — of course — all sorts of elegant butterflies. While there are more than 6,000 butterflies from more than 120 different species, at times, it’s hard to see at least some of them, since they prefer to hide in the shadows.

In addition to butterflies, the Park is home to koi fish, a myriad of beetles, dragonflies, and much more tropical insects. Photographs will have to pay an extra fee if they wish to immortalize the moment.

4. Bird Park

This park is near the butterfly park and would complement a visit to the latter. The bird park is the place to see over 2,000 birds from over 200 species roam freely in a natural habitat.

Kids can feed the birds with special foods bought in the park. The Bird Park in Kuala Lumpur is also a large entertainment center with playground for small kids, several lovely waterfalls, relaxation room and incubators.

5. Sunway Lagoon

The Sunway Lagoon combines five fantastic theme parks, with the Great Waterpark boasting the largest artificial surf beach in the world.

One park features a large animal kingdom. There, you will find and interact with all sorts of animals including panthers, tigers, and crocodiles.

In the Extreme Park, parents can dedicate some time to themselves and try archery, bungee jumping, quad driving or even paintball.

In the Scream Park, you will have the chance to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.
