Pack a car or an RV with friends, food, and good humor, and start your adventure — we’ve even built these legendary travel itineraries for you.

Southwest

The American southwest remains an uncharted, unfenced land that has long excited the imagination of Americans. While there aren’t any more golden nuggets for you to find (unless you count the Las Vegas casinos), the red rock vistas and breathtaking landscapes are priceless.

This road trip itinerary takes you along Historic Route 66 through California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Along the road, you will discover the wild beauty of national parks, deserts, and lakes.

The travel itinerary starts and ends in Los Angeles with stops in the Grand Canyon region, Joshua Tree National Park, Yosemite, wine country, and more.

Northeast

For the ultimate East Coast experience, you will need to combine the jaw-dropping, vibrant nightlife in the Big Apple, with the memorials of early American colonial history in Philadelphia and Boston, as you make your way to the cultural centers that are Baltimore and Washington D.C.

While there are many iconic landmarks and sobering landmarks along this travel itinerary, it would be a shame not to get your fix of beaches and harbors as well as dazzling nightlife venues.

Experience the Irish pub culture in Boston, sample an authentic Philly cheesesteak, and lay the on always-welcoming Myrtle Beach. Nothing prevents you from continuing down south to Florida to discover Orlando and Miami Beach.

Coast to coast

How would you want to cover the 3000 miles that separate the East and the west coasts of America? It turns out there are a couple of popular routes, depending on which cities you wish to visit on both coasts.

The quintessential coast-to-coast road trip is to link New York to San Francisco via interstate I-80. The itinerary will take you through the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, to a Chicago pizzeria where you can sample their famous deep-dish pie. Embrace the open roads of the southern parts of Iowa and Nebraska on your way to the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Ski fans will definitely stop at Salt Lake City before gazing finally onto the Pacific.

Western Canada

The western Canadian coast is magnificent from Vancouver City to Calgary via the most scenic national parks in the world. Most of this travel itinerary follows the Trans-Canada Highway. Along the way, take in the breathtaking sceneries of Glacier and Banff National Parks.

You would be advised to make a side trip to Vancouver island and spend some time exploring the diverse Vancouver City; its pub scene is unlike any other. The highlights of this road trip are the countless opportunities to bond with nature. From whale-watching on the ferry to Vancouver island to animal-spotting in the wilderness around Kamloops, there is much to see. Also you should take time to kayak, canoe, or fish in the crystal-clear lakes or hike and mountain bike around the trails.
