1. Conwy Castle, Wales, United Kingdom: 

A medieval fortification on the north coast of Wales, Conwy Castle was built by Edward I during his conquest of Wales in the 13th century. With 8 towers, this castle is one of the most expensive castles made by Edward I.

2. Prague Castle, Prague, Czech Republic: 

Known for being one of the oldest and largest castles in the world, the construction for the Prague Castle began in the ninth century. It is 570 meters long and 130 meters wide.

3. Alcazar of Segovia, Spain: 

This stone castle is located in the old city of Segovia. It is one of the inspirations for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle, and it is shaped like the bow of a ship. Located on a rocky hill, it is one of the most distinctive palaces in Spain. Alcazar was built in the 12th century as a fortress but has also since then served as a state prison, royal palace and a military academy.

4. Bodiam Castle, England: 

Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, England. It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, ostensibly to defend the area against the French invasion during the Hundred Years’ War.

5. Miranda Castle, Belgium: 

Miranda Castle, known as Noisy Castle, is a 19th-century castle in Celles, province of Namur in the region of Ardennes. Some refer to it as the abandoned castle or the haunted castle. It was built in 1866 by the English architect Milner under commission from the Liedekerke-Beaufort family.
