Here’s an entry from a friend of Travefy, who recently took a group trip to celebrate her birthday. Boy does planning pay!
The last time I took a big group trip was my birthday in Ocean City, MD. We had high hopes – especially the birthday girl – but it didn’t go at all as we had planned. Because, as it turned out, we didn’t really plan. There were lots of hidden fees, we weren’t really sure what to do to fill the days and nights, and we ended up not making the most of the trip. We did still have a fabulous trip, but it definitely could have been more fabulous had we taken the time to really research and create an itinerary. Lesson learned!
