Theme parks a great part of any summer. Walking through the parks, going on tons of rides, playing fun games, and eating funnel cakes are just some of the details that go into an adventurous day at a theme park. With summer and warmer weather creeping up, there are tons of different parks you can visit. So, don’t miss out on summer 2014’s best theme parks!

Universal Orlando – Orlando, FL:

The star attraction at this park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, is even better this year with its new addition Diagon Alley, opening this June. This area of Universal really brings Harry Potter to life. Enjoy your ride on the Hogwarts Express!

Six Flags Great America – Gurnee, IL: 

A triple-record-breaking ride named Goliath is the top new attractions this summer, opening May 31st. The ride goes 180 feet and 72 mph, making it the tallest, fastest, and steepest (85 degrees) wooden roller coaster. It’s definitely a must-see!

Universal Studios Hollywood – Universal City, CA: 

Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem is the newest feature at Universal Studios Hollywood. It is a 4-D simulator that is perfect for families. Riders will put on their “Minion Goggles” as they enter into a test to see if they have what it takes to become a minion. Also make sure you don’t miss Transformers: The Ride, where you will be placed into the middle of an intergalactic war!

The Adventuredome – Las Vegas, NV: 

Vegas isn’t only known for its casinos and nightclubs, but for its roller coasters as well! Part of the Circus Circus resort, The Adventuredome introduced its new steel coaster, El Loco this past February. It’s definitely a thriller with its jaw-dropping 90-degree drop and crazy turns!

Busch Gardens Tampa – Tampa, FL: 

Be sure to head down to Tampa to take a ride on Busch Garden’s new Falcon’s Fury this month. This coaster features North America’s tallest free-standing drop of 335 feet and will be the first ever drop tower to send riders down with seats that tilt 90 degrees forward. If you’re looking for a thrill, this is definitely the roller coaster for you!
