A run with a show: this marathon series takes place directly on the Las Vegas Strip. This race features over 30 live bands, sideline magic shows, showgirls, and even a run-through wedding chapel along the route! You’ll be so entertained you’ll (almost) forget you’re running 13.1 miles.

Run Woodstock – Pinckney, Michigan: September 9-11, 2016

This hippie themed race is “a celebration of freedom and fitness.” Held in Pinckney, Michigan, Run Woodstock is a weekend of music, yoga and runs through beautiful Michigan trails. They do have timed race events ranging from a 5k to a 100-mile race! You’ll tie dye t-shirts, enjoy good vibes and of course, have some great running experiences.

The Good Life Halfsy – Lincoln, Nebraska: November 6, 2016

Halfsy the distance, double the fun. Presented by Bulu Box, this half marathon focuses on fun. With a cheer station almost every half mile, you’ll never be short on support. Not to mention, every runner gets to end their race with a beer and a Nebraska-favorite Runza sandwich. Not to mention that after the race, they offer up a full collection of photos from the race. These photos are searchable by bib number, so you can find all the pictures of you during the race! Check out the recap video of this year’s race.

Krispy Kreme Challenge – Raleigh, North Carolina: February 6, 2016

This race challenges you to run five miles in one hour. No biggie. Oh, but you have to eat 12 doughnuts as well. This 2,400 calorie race “epitomizes the test of physical fitness and gastrointestinal fortitude.” This nationally publicized charity race – benefiting the North Carolina Children’s Hospital – brings over 8,000 people a year to take the ultimate fitness-meets-eating challenge. Participants will run 2.5 miles through historic downtown Raleigh to Krispy Kreme where they’ll consume one dozen donuts. They’ll then have to run a gruelling 2.5 miles back… All in one hour. Each year, this gut-wrenching race brings in around $200,000 a year for North Carolina Children’s Hospital!
