The Grand Canyon

On an average, Grand Canyon claims the lives of approximately 12 people per year due to suicide, dehydration, heat and accidentally slipping over the edge. Florida, also known as the sunshine state, is very popular for the shark attacks. Around 31.24% of the world’s total shark attacks take place in Florida and New Smyrna Beach is at the top of the list with the highest attacks per square kilometer. However, not all attacks are deadly because at times young sharks attack and the victims face injuries.

Cliffs of Moher

This destination is a highly visited place and it is reported that over a million tourists visited the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland in 2006. While it gives an excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean, Cliffs of Moher has resulted in the deaths of several tourists majorly due to the absence of handrails. Since the location lacks handrails, the director of Cliffs of Moher visitor experience warns the tourists to take precautions. However, she claims that tourists are often careless about it and risk their own lives and the lives of others.
