1. Pumpkin Picking:
One of the most traditional fall activities is pumpkin picking. Hotel Vermont in Burlington, Vermont has a pumpkin-picking package for travelers of all ages. 3. Apple Picking:

It is a 16-acre family-owned orchard that grows more than 100 varieties of apples. In the fall families can stop by for a tour, which includes apple picking, tastings, and a walk through the Dutch colonial barn, which dates back to 1901. 4. Bike Tours:
South Dakota’s Black Hills region has amazing, expansive landscapes. Bike tours depart capital Rapid City for breathtaking views of Mount Rushmore and go to Custer State Park. There are 10 different cycling routes, so there is plenty to see!
5. Tour over the Hudson:
Take a trip to New York to ascent Poughkeepsie’s Walkway Over the Hudson, which is a 1.25-mile footbridge that crosses the state’s largest river!
