Space Tourism

Are you an adventurer with millions in the bank? If so, we have the vacation for you. In case you haven’t heard, billionaire Richard Branson is selling tickets for trips on his Virgin Galactic space ship for a sub-orbital space flight beginning in late 2013. Just $200,000 per person will buy you a 2.5 hour flight with 6 minutes of weightlessness.

Looking for something a little bit more lunar? Well, if you happen to have $150 million just burning a hole in your pocket, a couple space tourism companies are offering lunar fly-bys that may be available as early as 2015. You won’t actually touch the moon’s surface while on this refurbished Russian spacecraft, but we imagine you’ll be able to by 2020!
