Happy (belated) Canada Day!

In case you weren’t aware, yesterday – July 1 – was Canada Day. Canada Day celebrates the Constitution Act of 1867, which united three colonies into a single country called Canada within the British Empire. More simply, Canada Day is the annual celebration of Canada’s birthday!

Since Canada Day fell on a Sunday this year, today Canadians are off the clock and enjoying an extended holiday weekend. And, it seems likely that many people spent this holiday weekend vacationing with friends and family.

One location that a group of Travefy employees have been dying to visit is the Canadian Rockies. And who could blame them? Check out this amazing video, featured on Canada’s national tourism site, which displays all of the sights to be seen.

When planning your next trip, don’t forget our neighbors to the north, especially if you and your friends love the great outdoors! Have you been to the Canadian Rockies? Tell us about your trip in the comments for a chance to be a featured guest post.
