5 Things to do in NYC this Spring

I’m sure all New Yorkers are rejoicing now that Spring is here, and they can finally put away their winter jackets. New York City is known as the city that never sleeps, so of course there are plenty of things you can do here as the weather gets warmer. If you’ve run out of ideas, or are just looking for something new to do, here is a guide for you to follow this season. From new hotels and restaurants to concerts and festivals, NYC has so many new things to offer! Here are a few things to do in NYC this spring:

Tribeca Film Festival: The festival will begin on April 16 and last through the 27th. It will kick off with the Vanity Fair party featuring celebrities like Robert De Niro! If you don’t have an invite, there will be plenty more chances to be star struck during the week. The opening film is a documentary on Nas the rapper, called “Time is Illmatic.”

NYC Craft Beer Festival: This annual event is tons of fun. Enjoy unlimited 2oz samples of 150 spring-release craft beers that come from all over the country! If you’re interested, you can upgrade your ticket to VIP for an extra hour of rare selections and hors d’oeuvres in your own private lounge!

Hedwig and the Angry Inch: If you’re a fan of How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris, you’ll want to see this play. The cast is only made up of  people, but expect tons of song and dance from the talented actors, including Harris.

Spa Week: This weeklong campaign is back for its 10th birthday! The campaign partners with hundreds of spas throughout the city to offer services for $50. So take advantage of this offer and begin pampering yourself with facials, massages, and manicure/pedicures! Hurry up and book your appointments because spaces fill up quickly.

Miley Cyrus, Icona Pop, & Sky Ferreira Concert: If you’re a Miley Cyrus fan, you won’t want to miss this concert! The show will be at Nassau Coliseum from April 3-24. Cyrus plays a trio of area gigs on her Bangerz tour, abetted by fellow edgy pop sensations Icona Pop and Sky Ferreira.
