Why Croatia Will Take Your Breath Away

Croatia is so amazing for so many different reasons. There are gorgeous beaches, amazing valleys, beautiful turquoise Sea waters, and great Mediterranean cities to explore. Once you visit this amazing destination, you won’t want to leave. So, what types of things can you do when you visit? Check out our list of the best places to visit in Croatia:

1. Visit Krka National Park:

Come visit one of the most beautiful areas in Croatia. See the breathtaking waterfalls and landscape. Once you get to the bottom of the waterfalls, you can swim in the water and take in the view. You can complete your journey with a boat ride as well. There are more than 800 plant species recorded in the area, so there is plenty to see and take pictures of.

2. Walk the Walls of Dubrovnik:

Dubrovnik is a small city located at the southernmost part of Croatia along the coast of Dalmatia. The old city walls were build in the late medieval times to protect the village from enemies. Today, these walls are often referred to as the peal of the Adriatic. Walking along the walls, you’re able to see amazing views of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.

3. Go scuba diving on the island of Mljet:

Close to the city of Dubrovnik, this island will surprise you with its beauty and numerous hidden beaches along the borders of the National Park Mljet. The island is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving because the sea is abundant with underwater caves and coral reefs.

4. Check out the historical City of Split:

Located in the center of Dalmatia and known as Croatia’s second largest populated city, there is plenty of history to discover in this city. One of its most famous sites is Diocletian’s Palace.

5. Sunbathe on the Island of Brac:

Located in central Dalmatia across the coast of the City of Split, Brac is mostly known for its amazing beaches and crystal clear, turquoise waters. Zlatni Rat, its world famous beach, has become one of the most popular places for Croatia tourists to visit. This island is perfect for family beach vacations, diving, and windsurfing!
