Taipei, Taiwan. If you don’t mind eating out of a replica toilet, this is the restaurant for you. This unique restroom-themed restaurant chain contains chairs that are actual toilets, and dishes are served on plastic miniature toilet bowls. The owner, Wang Tzi-Wei opened Modern Toilet after the success of his ice cream shop that sold swirls of ice cream in mini toilets.

Cockroach Races:

Brisbane, Australia. The “cocky races” are held on “Australia Day,” and consist of plenty of entertainment. There are live bands throughout the day, and a dunking machine for entertainment on this hot day. You can expect to see up to 7,000 cockroach punters throughout the day enjoying the races and sunshine.

Hakone Kowakien Yunessun Wine Spa

Hakone, Japan. At Yunessun Spa Resort, customers have the chance to cleanse themselves in a variety of different tubs, filled with anything you can think of from green tea to red wine to sake. The spa’s wine treatment is available for a 12-day period each year, and it includes a 12-foot bottle of wine so visitors can drink while they bathe!

Hair Museum:

Avanos, Turkey. This museum is located in a small cave, underneath a pottery shop. It contains hair samples, names, and addresses from more than 16,000 women from all over the world. The museum was founded by Chez Galip, a potter in Avanos more than 30 years ago. According to Oddity Central, Galip’s friend had to leave Avanos, and he was upset by this. The woman left him a piece of hair to remember her by, and since then, women who visited his place would leave him with a piece of their hair.

The Great Whipped Cream Battle

Olomouc, Czech Republic. This is one of the events held during the week long city festival in June. This event is exactly what you think it is. Whipped cream is portioned out on paper trays, and then there is a countdown. Teams rush toward each other, throwing whipped cream at each other. If you don’t mind getting a little messy, this activity might be perfect for you!
